This bread was the specialty of a wonderful lady at our church. She always brought it to a potluck. I am so happy to have it. She passed away a year ago and I am so grateful that she shared it with me. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients For chunky apple pumpkin bread

1 1/2 csugar

1 cpumpkin
-
1/2 cwater
-
1/3 cvegetable oil

2eggs
-
1 2/3 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

3/4 tspsalt

1/2 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/4 tspbaking powder
-
1/4 tspcloves
-
1 cchopped apples
-
3/4 cwalnuts ( you can use black walnuts if you like)

Keep an eye on this while it bakes. Every oven is different and ours was baked perfectly after 1 hr 15 min.

1Mix sugar, pumpkin, water, oil, and eggs well.

2Mix all other ingredients (except apples and walnuts) together and add to sugar mixture.

3Fold in apples and walnuts.

4Spray 9x5x3 pan with non-stick spray and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until test done. Really Good
