Love these especially with my favorite espresso drink. (White Chocolate Mocha with a shot of Hazelnut).

Blue Ribbon Recipe

The breakfast of champions: a mug of hot coffee and these scones! They are the perfect way to start Valentine's Day. This is a very simple scone recipe that comes together in a snap thanks to the cream cheese. The dough is pretty sticky, but knead it with a little flour and roll it between two pieces of parchment paper to make working with it easy. Tender and moist, they have a deep chocolate flavor with bits of chocolate in each bite. These scones are divine as they are. But to make them even more special, dust with a bit of powdered sugar or drizzle with melted chocolate.
