I know this sounds like a crazy combination. But it is so good and moist. My father in law loves it. He is quite disappointed if I show up at his house without one in hand. I always make several and send home with those attending our Thanksgiving dinner.

Ingredients For chocolate chip pumpkin bread

4 lgeggs

2/3 cwater

1 cvegetable oil (do not use any other oil)

1 can15-16 oz. pumpkin

3 cgranulated sugar

3-1/3 cflour
-
2 tspbaking soda
-
1-1/2 tspsalt
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspnutmeg
-
1 cchocolate chips or mini chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip pumpkin bread

1Combine in large mixing bowl the eggs, water, vegetable oil, pumpkin and the sugar. Set aside.

2Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Add by cupful(s) to the wet ingredients. Add the chocolate chips last. Pour into greased loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until toothpick tests done in the center.

5Cool in pan on wire rack for an hour before turning out of pan. Freezes well. Double batches work well.
