3/4 cbutter

1egg

1/3 cwhite sugar

1/3 cdark brown sugar

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspvanilla extract

1/3 cchocolate chips

5-7soft caramels
How To Make caramel banana bread

1Mash bananas in mixing bowl.

2Melt butter in separate bowl (can microwave for 30 seconds). Mix into banana bowl.

3Beat egg in empty butter bowl. Mix into bananas.

4Mix in both sugars and vanilla.

5Mix in salt and baking powder.

6Mix in chocolate chips.

7Sift flower into banana bowl. Fold into mixture slowly; don't overmix.

8Pour into a greased 9x9 pan.

9Unwrap caramels and pull them apart. Dot the top of the mixture with the caramel.

10Bake for about 40 minutes, or until knife stuck in middle, comes out clean.
