How To Make cappuccino sweet bread
-
1Stir the yeast in a 1/3 cup of warm water w. ½ tsp of sugar, for proofing. Comfine the warm milk and the cappuccino mix stirring well.
-
2In a large mixing bowl, or (KA mixer) place the warm the milk mix and add the coffee powder, sugar, vanilla, salt and eggs. Beat until the sugar is dissolved and add the Yeast and mix well.
-
3Add 3 cups of flour and mix with mixer a few minutes or by hand.
-
4Continue to add flour until you make a soft Ball of dough. The dough should not stick to your hands but don’t make it stiff , try to keep it a “soft dough” that does not stick to your hands. Sprinkle some flour under the ball and knead it until smooth. Place it in a large bowl and rub some oil on top.
-
5Put the dough into your largest mixing bowl for the rise. Make sure to oil the bowl as well as the top of the dough. Cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place until doubled.
-
6Preheat oven to 350 f. When ready knock down the dough and form into any loaf shape you wish. Use the saved egg and milk to brush the loaf top. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds or whatever you may like, if you wish.
-
7Bake about 45 -55 mins or until a golden brown and sounding hollow when thumped.
