Ingredients For buttery caramel quicks

1/3 cbutter
-
1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 Tbspwater
-
2 cflour
-
1/4 csugar
-
1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspsalt
-
2/3 cmilk
-
1/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1/2 cchopped pecans
How To Make buttery caramel quicks

1Preheat oven to 425°F.

2In 9" square pan, melt butter.

3Stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar and water.

4Set aside.

5In large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

6Add milk all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

7Turn out onto well-floured surface.

8Roll out to a 12" x 10" rectangle.

9Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar, cinnamon & pecans.
-
10Sprinkle over dough.
-
11Roll up starting with 12" side.

12Cut into 1" slices; place cut-side down in prepared pan.

13Bake at 425°F for 18-22 minutes, until golden brown.

14Turn out immediately and serve hot.
