  • BLUEBERRY BREAD

    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    fresh blueberries
  • CRUMBLE TOPPING
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter

How To Make blueberry bread

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan well.

    To make the blueberry bread, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

    In a larger bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined. Fold in the fresh blueberries.

    Spoon the batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan. To make the crumble topping, combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter in a small bowl. Sprinkle it over the bread and bake for about 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
