This banana bread recipe is yummy, moist and full of banana flavor! We love the addition of blueberries. They really complement the banana flavor. The streusel on top is what sets this banana bread recipe apart and makes it amazing.

1 cmashed ripe bananas (2 to 3)

1 cfresh blueberries or frozen blueberries

3/4 csugar

2 call purpose flour + 1 tablespoon

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt (I omitted, cause I used salted butter)

1/2 tspground cinnamon
-
1/2 cbuttermilk
-
6 Tbspbutter, melted
-
1 lgegg
- STREUSEL TOPPING:

1/4 call-purpose flour
-
1/4 coats, regular
-
2 Tbspbrown sugar
-
2 Tbspbutter, cut into chunks

1/4 tspground cinnamon
How To Make blueberry-banana streusel bread

1Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, gently mix blueberries with 1 tbsp of flour.

2In another bowl, blend remaining 2 cups of flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

3In a large bowl, whisk mashed bananas, buttermilk, butter, and egg to blend.

4Stir flour mixture into banana mixture just until evenly moistened, the batter will be stiff.

5Gently stir in blueberry mixture. Spread evenly into a buttered 9X5 inch loaf pan.

6For streusel: In a small bowl combine 1/4 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, and softened butter. Mix with fingers till crumbly.

7Then sprinkle on top of loaf. Bake for 60-70 minutes. Let cool.
