Ingredients For better than grandma's banana bread

1 cgranulated sugar

1/2 tspsalt

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cbutter or margerine(1 stick)

3 lgmashed ripe bananas

2 lgbeaten eggs

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspnutmeg

2 1/3 cflour
-
2/3 cchopped walnuts or pecans

1/2 capplesauce, unsweetened
How To Make better than grandma's banana bread

1cream sugar, butter, vanilla extract and salt

2add eggs, bananas and applesauce. beat just till mixed.

3add flour, baking soda and spices. mix lightly. add nuts and mix just till blended.

4pour into greased loaf pan. bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes till golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean.

5remove from pan immediately and cool. drizzle with powdered sugar icing if desired.
