1/2 cbutter

3/4 cbrown sugar

2 lgeggs

1 tspvanilla extract

3 lgripe bananas, mashed

1 call purpose flour

1 cwhole wheat flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 cdark rum
How To Make banana rum bread

1preheat oven to 350. grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

2in a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing between additions.

4beat in the vanilla extract and mashed bananas until fully incorporated. mix in the flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt. stir in the rum.

5transfer batter to prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6cool loaf in pan for 10 minutes before removing and transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
