Basic recipe from my mom's old Betty Crocker cookbook. Still a family favortie though. :) Posting it for my Christmas gift basket shopping list.

Ingredients For banana nut bread

2 1/2 call purpose flour

1 csugar
-
3 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt
-
3/4 cmilk
-
1egg
-
1 cchopped walnuts

3large bananas, mashed
How To Make banana nut bread

1Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour 9x5x3 loaf pan. For 3 MINI LOAVES (3x5x2) heat to 325.

2Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Thoroughly mix ingredients for about 30 seconds, scraping bowl frequently.

3Pour into loaf pan/s, bake for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Transfer to wire rack to cool. Allow to cool completely before slicing.

4Best served hot with butter. Freezes well.
