Everyone in my family loves this banana bread, the aroma of it cooking draws kids of all ages to the kitchen. I use half splenda and half sugar so my father in law can eat a little too as he has diabetes, but it is fine to use all sugar or even all splenda.

Ingredients For banana nut bread

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1 tspcinnamon

1 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/2 cchopped walnuts

1/2 cwhite sugar

1/2 csplenda
-
1 stickbutter softened
-
1/2 csour cream
-
2 tspvanilla extract
-
2eggs
-
1 cmashed very ripe bananas
How To Make banana nut bread

1pre heat oven to 350'. spray 9x5in loaf pan with cooking spray an set aside.

2combine first 6 ingredients (your dry ingredients) in medium sized mixing bowl

3combine next 6 ingredients (your wet ingredients) in separate mixing bowl

4mash bananas and add to wet ingredients

5combine wet and dry ingredients together, but do not over mix (I just use a wire whisk as it doesn't require a lot of mixing)

6pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 1hr.

7let cool for at least 15min. and enjoy!
