Ingredients For banana bread

  • 2 to 3
    bananas
  • 1/3 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • pinch
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour

How To Make banana bread

    Preheat oven to 350. Grease a loaf pan.

    In a bowl, mash bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.

    Mix in baking soda and salt. Stir in sugar and beat the egg and add and add vanilla. Mix in flour mixture.

    Pour batter in pan and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    Remove from oven and let cool, then remove from pan and slice. Store in container with a lid. Keeps for 4 days at room temperature. Or you can freeze it.
