Ingredients For banana bread

2eggs

2 cflour
-
1 csugar
-
1 cmashed banana

1/2 cbutter
-
1/2 cpecans (or walnuts)

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt
- STREUSEL-NUT-TOPPING (IF DESIRED)

1/4 cbrown sugar, packed

3 Tbspflour
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
1/2 cpecans (or walnuts)
How To Make banana bread

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and 1/2 inch up the side of your loaf pan.

2In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda.

3In a small bowl cream eggs and butter. Then beat in banana with mixer. Add egg mixture to flour mixture. Combine, then fold in nuts.

4Bake for 1 hour. Note: Check at about 40 minutes, if your loaf is browning too quickly put a foil tent over the top.

5STREUSEL-NUT-TOPPING Combine 1/4 cup packed brown sugar and 3 tablespoons flour. Using a pastry blender cut in 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans. Put over top of batter.
