This banana nut bread is delicious. A dear friend gave me this recipe years ago. It's one of the many breads I make for friends at Christmas. Easy and delicious. This recipe makes two loaves of bread. Enjoy!

1/2 cshortening

1 csugar

2eggs
-
3bananas, crushed

1 cnuts, chopped

2 cflour
-
1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt
How To Make banana nut bread (revised)-connie's

1Cream together Shortening and sugar,

2Add eggs, bananas and nuts to mixture.

3In a different large bowl, sift flour baking soda & salt.

4Add creamed mixture to the flour mixture and mix well. Add to lightly greased and two floured loaf pans.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

6After baking, place on a cooling rack.

7Once completely cooled, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Enjoy!
