Worth the effort and time This is a bread that I bake year round. One is usually in the freeze to have on hand for unexpected company.

Ingredients For apple loaf

4 cdiced and peeled mcintosh apples

2 csugar
-
2 stickbutter
-
3 cflour
-
2 tspbaking soda

2 tspcinnamon

2 lgeggs

1 tspvanilla
How To Make apple loaf

1mix apples and sugar in a large bowl. Leave at room temperature for 2 hours, stirring occasionlly.

2Heat oven to 325*. Grease two 8 ½ by 4 ½ loaf pans

3Melt butter let cool

4mix flour, BS and cinnamon stir into apples. Stir in butter,eggs,and vanilla

5I sprinkled the top with 2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 sugar

6Bake 1 1/4 to 1 ½ hours or until wooden pick comes out clean

7Cool on wire rack for 10 mins. Before removing from pans to Cool completely.

8Refrigerate until ready to use

9Freezes well
