How To Make apple fritter bread

  • 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan well. Make the bread batter by whisking the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Using a mixer, cream the butter and the granulated sugar in a large bowl. Stir in the eggs and the vanilla extract. Stir in the flour mixture and milk, alternating between the two.
  • 2
Make the apple mixture by combining the apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a separate medium bowl.
  • 3
Make the cinnamon sugar by combining the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • 4
Spread half the bread batter into the prepared pan. Top with half the apple mixture and half of the cinnamon sugar. Spread the remainder of the bread batter in the pan and top with the remainder of the apple mixture and cinnamon sugar.
  • 5
Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the top comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs. There should be no wet batter. If the top browns too fast, cover it loosely with aluminum foil.
  • 6
After 15 minutes, carefully remove the bread from the pan onto a cooling rack.
  • 7
Once the bread has thoroughly cooled, make the vanilla cinnamon glaze. Whisk the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Drizzle it over the bread.
