This recipe came from a friend of my mothers, she gave a loaf to my parents once years ago and I had a slice and had to get the recipe.I hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

Ingredients For apple cake bread

  • 2 c
    white sugar
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 4 c
    peeled, chopped apples
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

How To Make apple cake bread

  • 1
    Preheat oven 350, grease and flour 2 loaf pans. In a mixing bowl with eletric mixer add first 4 ingredients cream together, in seperate bowl add next 4 ingredients and whisk together then add to creamed mixture, mix well.Stir in last 2 ingredients mix well, pour into both loaf pans and bake for 45 min. or until test done with a toothpick poked in center and comes out clean. Enjoy!!!
