This bread is great with some eggs or with some down home cooking or even to snack on. It's great made in to muffins as well. It freezes well too. This is easy and something everyone can love!

Ingredients For sausage bread

1 lbbulk pork sausage (hot or mild)

1/2 conion, chopped

1/4 cparmesan cheese

1egg beaten
-
1/4 tsptabasco sauce

1/2 tspsalt
-
2 Tbspfresh flat leaf parsley

2 cbisquick baking mix
-
2/3 cmilk
-
1/4 cmayonnaise
-
1/2 cswiss cheese, shredded

1egg yolk to brush on top
How To Make sausage bread

1Brown the sausage and onion in a skillet. Drain well and cool slightly. Combine the browned mixture with cheese, egg and seasoning. Mix all ingredients together until you have a fairly thick batter. Put this mixture in a greased 9? square pan, 8?, or you can even make muffins with it. Brush top with 1 beaten egg yolk mixed with 1 tablespoon water. Bake at 400° for about 30 minutes or until nicely browned.

2If you freeze for later use, wrap in individual pieces of plastic wrap and put in Ziploc bag. When you want a snack, just pop in the microwave. Also can be made into muffins.
