This bread is delicious and makes wonderful holiday presents for neighbors and friends. The recipe makes 6 loafs and bakes in #303 cans or small loaf pans. The recipe was given to me many years ago by a good friend. Everyone loves this bread. Enjoy!

Ingredients For perky pumpkin bread-connie's

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 5
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 c
    pumpkin
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    nuts, chopped
  • 2 pkg
    coconut cream pudding mix
  • 6
    #303 cans or small loaf pans, greased and floured

How To Make perky pumpkin bread-connie's

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix together sugar, flour oil, eggs, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda.

    Add pumpkin and mix well.

    Add nuts,oil and coconut cream pudding mix to mixture.

    Pour mixture 1/2 way up in 6 #303 cans or small loaf pans, greased and floured.

    Place cans or small loaf pans on cookie sheet.

    Bake 45-50 minutes.

    Remove from cans and cool.

    Wrap in waxed paper and store in refrigerator.
