Oh my! and they are sooooo easy to make. Do not remain alone in a room with these, or there will be none to serve to your guests.

Ingredients For pepperoni puffs

  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano (i used ground)
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg, lightly beaten
  • 4 oz
    mozzarella cheese (i used pepper jack)
  • 4 oz
    pepperoni. diced (i used boarhead stick pepperoni)
  • 1/2 c
    spaghetti or pizza sauce (i use newman's sockaroni)
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh basil, diced (i was out but will use it next time)

How To Make pepperoni puffs

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees

    Grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan (I used shortning spray)

    In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and oregano
  • 4
    Whisk in milk and egg
  • 5
    Stir in pepperoni and cheese
  • 6
    Let stand 10 inutes
  • 7
    Stir and divide among the baking cups
  • 8
    Bake 20 - 25 minutes. Until puffed and golden.

    Heat sauce and sprinkle half the basil over the sauce and half over the puffs, if desired.
