Ingredients For pepper bread

  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • 2 c
    self-rising corn meal
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/3 c
    chopped green pepper

How To Make pepper bread

  • 1
    Combine eggs and buttermilk.
  • 2
    Stir in cornmeal just until moistened.
  • 3
    Add remaining ingredients.
  • 4
    Pour mixture into a greased loaf pan.
  • 5
    Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve warm.
