I just love dumplings. My DH, not as much..so if I cook them I have to eat them. So no photo for a while. I have tried a whole lot of recipes for dumplings and this is the one! I did tweak a few things. This can be used for a chicken or beef stew or soup. Allrecipes.com: ronnastefan

Ingredients For herbed dumplings

1 1/2 cflour

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspdried thyme (minced)

1/2 tspdried parsley

1/2 tspdried oregano

3 Tbspbutter (cold)

3/4 cmilk (use buttermilk if you have extra)
How To Make herbed dumplings

1In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and spices together with a wire whip.

2Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3Gradually add milk, using just enough to form a thick bater.

4Drop by rounded tablespoons into your simmering soup or stew. Cover and allow to cook for 15 minutes. NO PEEKING
