This is my absolute favorite banana bread recipe. The combination of bananas and pineapple gives the bread a wonderful taste.

This delicious banana bread has a Hawaiian twist with the addition of pineapple. Thanks to the chunks of pineapple, the bread is extra moist. Sweet and nutty, it has a hint of tropical flavors. We opted to add chopped nuts and loved the crunch. Whether you bake muffins or a loaf, this banana bread will disappear in no time.

Ingredients For hawaiian banana bread

    all-purpose flour
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 3 lg
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 c
    mashed bananas (about 4 medium size)
  • 1 can
    crushed pineapple with juice (8 oz)
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

  • Dry ingredients in a bowl.

    Combine dry ingredients. Stir in nuts and set aside.
  • Wet ingredients combined in a bowl.
