This is another of my Grandmas's recipes. Home made bread was a must in the 40's, we lived on a farm and only went to town once a month.

Ingredients For grandma delleplain yeast rolls

1yeast, cake

1/2 clukewarm water
-
2 Tbspshorteing
-
2 Tbspsugar

2 tspsalt
-
1/2 cmilk ( scalded )

2egg yolks
-
3 1/2 to 4 csifted flour
How To Make grandma delleplain yeast rolls

1Soften yeast in lukewarm water,

2Add shortening, sugar, and salt to milk. Cool milk to luckwarm and add yeast and beaten egg.

3Stir in flour to make a soft dough, turn out onto a floured board and knead until smooth ( about 8-10 minutes )

4Shape into rolls. Let stand until double in size bake at 425 for 12-15 minutes.
