I often use Rhodes Frozen Bread dough dinner Rolls when I have an ambitious menu, and on Father's Day this year, I had just that, and this recipe worked perfectly. Coating the bread in melted butter with herbs and grated Parmesan cheese, created a perfect dinner roll accompaniment to our meal. We loved them hot and then with the herb butter it made the meal complete. The loaf pan I used is 12 inches long.

Ingredients For garlic parmesan pull apart bread

  • 12
frozen bread dough dinner rolls,( i used rhode's )
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted (1/2 cup)
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried chive
  • 1 tsp
    coarse black pepper
  • 2/3 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme

How To Make garlic parmesan pull apart bread

  • 1
Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray & set aside till needed. This is what the frozen bag of dinner rolls looks like.
  • 2
Melt the butter in a small bowl. Combine Parmesan cheese with granulated garlic, chive and pepper, stir to blend together.
  • 3
Roll each bread dough into melted butter. Pour about half of cheese mixture in a small plate then roll each frozen dinner roll in cheese mixture and place in loaf pan. Depending on the size loaf pan you use, you may need more or less dinner rolls to fill the pan. If there is any of the cheese mixture left over, store in resealable bag and use at a later time. Keep in freezer or refrigerator.
  • 4
Repeat until all the dinner rolls have been coated with the Parmesan mixture. Spray a sheet of saran wrap with non stick cooking spray and cover pan. Set in a warm draft free space, and allow rolls to rise to top of loaf pan. I usually turn my oven on to 200 degrees F. and place loaf pan on top of stove to hasten the proofing process.

Bake in Preheated 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Rub top of bread with butter as desired, and serve while still hot.
