Was looking for different ways to make rolls for dinner. Saw a recipe for knots and played around with it till I was able to make it my own and better then first time. My daughter gets very excited when she sees me rolling out the dough. And between her and my husband I don't have any left over.

Ingredients For garlic knots
- DOUGH MIX

2 tspyeast

3 cbread flour

1 tspsalt

2 Tbspsugar

2 Tbspolive oil

1 cwater plus 2 tablespoon
- GARLIC SAUCE

1 tspolive oil

1/2 cunsalted butter
-
3 Tbspminced garlic
-
2 Tbspparsley
-
1 Tbspsalt
-
1/4 cparmigiano-reggiano, grated
How To Make garlic knots

1Put dough mix into bread machine according to manufactures recommendations and set it to the dough setting.

2Once done with proofing roll out dough and cut into 1in thick strips only 5in long.

3Tie the strips into a knot.

4Brush knots with olive oil.

5Preheat oven 375.

6Proof again till doubled in size. I have skipped this step and just popped them in the oven to cook.

7Bake for 20 minutes.

8For the sauce melt butter on low heat.

9Add the garlic and parsley and cook till garlic is soft.

10Put knots in bowl and pour garlic sauce over rolls and toss to get a good coating.

11Place knots on platter and top with salt and cheese.
