On cool rainy days that tend to keep one inside the house, we love to back bread in our bread machine. This one is a favorite tried and true in my household. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients For favorite paprika onion bread (machine)

  • 1 c
    water - (70-80 degrees)
  • 2 Tbsp
    of butter or margerine, softened
  • 1/3 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 3 c
    bread flour (i usually use all purpose flour)
  • 1 pkg
    active dry yeast (1/4 oz)

How To Make favorite paprika onion bread (machine)

    In bread macine, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer.

    Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available.

    Bake according to bread machine directions. (Check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed.)

    Yields 1 loaf. (1 1/2 lbs.) Enjoy, this is one of my family's favorites.
