My kids just love when I make this bread for a snack or with pasta. So cheesy good with just the right spice. I hope you try it sometime. Thus recipe could be spread on a whole loaf of French or Italian bread, but my troops love it all spread on one halve. Depends how cheesy one likes their bread. Serve at a party, everyone will be happy you did. Enjoy!

Ingredients For ~ bubbling cheesy pleasin snack bread ~

  • 1
    loaf of italian or french bread, cut in half lengthwise. i use just half a loaf, but recipe will lightly coat both halves.
  • 1 c
    freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp
    each - onion & garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    fresh chopped parsley or parsley paste
  • 1/3 c
    shredded parmesan
  • sprinkle
    of paprika

How To Make ~ bubbling cheesy pleasin snack bread ~

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a medium bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, garlic and onion powder, parsley and mayonnaise. Cut bread in half lengthwise and spread half of mixture evenly over both halves of bread or spread all on one half as I do.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.

    Place in oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden and bubbly. I place mine under broiler for a few minutes as well.

    Slice and serve immediately.
