This is a nice sandwich bread. holds up to the toaster. also great grilled for panini sandwiches. recipe is not suitable for use with the Delay Timer on your bread machine. This is my own variation of a recipe I found in The Bread Lovers Bread Machine Cook Book by: Beth Hensperger

Ingredients For 100% whole wheat bread in a bread machine

  • 3/4 c
    tepid water
  • 3/4 c
    milk (soy, rice or coconut)
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    light molasses
  • 4 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    gluten
  • 1 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 4 tsp
    bread machine yeast

How To Make 100% whole wheat bread in a bread machine

  • 1
    Place all the ingredients in the pan according to the order in the manufacturer’s instructions. Set crust on medium and program for the Whole Wheat cycle; press Start.

    When the baking cycle ends, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack. Let cool to room temperature before slicing.
