I got this recipe from my English mother-in-law. She did not use measuring cups and spoons, so I put this together through trial and error until it was just like hers.

Ingredients For yorkshire pudding/popovers

  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    salt

How To Make yorkshire pudding/popovers

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • 2
    Have all ingredients at room temperature. Mix together.

    FOR POPOVERS: Preheat greased muffin tin. Remove and fill with batter. Return to oven and bake 35-40 minutes until slightly brown and puffy. Will rise over the top of pan.

    FOR YORKSHIRE PUDDING: Pour into preheated and greased 8 x 8 baking pan. Bake until slightly brown. Will puff up in oven and then settle when removed from oven.
