This is one of our quick and easy go to recipes. We both enjoy this dish very much. I do like peas in this recipe as a side or with the dish

Ingredients For tuna on toast

  • 1 large can
    tuna packed in water
  • 3-4 c
    milk, 2%
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    butter, cold

How To Make tuna on toast

  • 1
    melt 1/2 c butter in saucepan slowly add flour to form a paste
  • 2
    next add milk a little at a time until you achieve the thickened sauce for the tuna.

    add tuna, salt, pepper Simmer for 5 minutes.

    Make your buttered toast, spoon on tuna sauce and enjoy.
