Ingredients For trenza de fruta

  • 1 lg
    apple or pear
  • 3 tsp
    active dry yeast
  • 6 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 6 Tbsp
    oil
  • 2 pinch
    salt
  • 3 c
    flour [all purpose]
  • 1/2 c
    raisins
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1
    yolk
  • 2/3 c
    water

How To Make trenza de fruta

    cut apple or pear into square's,add raisens,honey,lemon juice,and cinnamon.mix together.place into bowl.set aside.

    in a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients flour,yeast,salt,sugar.

    in a mixer,add oil,eggs,and 1/3 water.(mix)add dry ingredients,alittle at a time.if dough looks dry add remaining 1/3 water.

    spray some pam into a bowl,add dough and let it rise twice, drain fruit.

    when dough is read cut into 3 parts.roll each piece into a rope(16inch in length)cut down the middle,add fruit, then seal.

    put rope side by side.pinch top end and start forming your braid.whisk yolk,brush your braid.let sit for 20min.

    pre-heat oven to 375f.place bread in oven,cook for 35min or into done.(every oven is diffrent)cool and eat..
