A very good friend of mine gave me this recipe for strawberry bread years ago. I love it because I can use frozen strawberries when they are out of season! The bread is the best flavor and moist like you read about! I hope you all enjoy!

Ingredients For strawberry bread

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 2 c
    frozen strawberries, thawed with juice
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt (optional)
  • 1 c
    walnuts, or pecans chopped (optional)
  • 1-2 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make strawberry bread

  • 1
    Cream sugar, oil, eggs. Add flour, soda, salt, nuts, cinnamon, adding strawberries with the juice last.

    Pour into greased bread pans.

    Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.

    Let cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Let cool another 15 minutes. Wrap in tin foil and let cool completly.

    This bread also freezes beautifully. So you can eat one and freeze the other, or give it away so you can make more!
