Ingredients For sour cream cornbread

1 cup flour, white

3/4 cup cornmeal

3 tbsp sugar, white

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cream of tarter

1 tsp salt

1 large egg, beaten

2 tbsp butter, melted
-
1 cup sour cream, thick
-
1/4 cup milk
-
soft butter & jam (for serving)
How To Make sour cream cornbread

1Preheat oven to 400º F

2Grease a 9x5-inch bread pan with butter and set aside until needed.

3Add flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in a bowl and mix well.

4Now add the egg, sour cream, milk and butter mixing until just combined.

5Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake 30 - 35 minutes.

6Cool on wire rack.

7Enjoy, sliced with butter and or jam.
