I love homemade rolls. Here's one that is relatively easy...

Ingredients For refrigerator rolls, mom's

  • 2 c
    lukewarm water
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 pkg
    dry yeast
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    shortening, softened
  • 7 c
    flour

How To Make refrigerator rolls, mom's

  • 1
    Mix well, grease top of dough and cover with waxed paper then damp cloth. Put into fridge. When ready to use, remove from refrigerator and shape. Let raise until light, 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 400 degrees 12-15 minutes.
