My fiance's niece does not like cornbread at all but she loves my sour cream & green onion cornbread. Great to eat with brown beans or chili. It is even delicious by itself.

2 cself-rising corn meal

3/4 cmilk or buttermilk

1/4 cvegetable oil

1egg
-
2 Tbspsugar or favorite artificial sweetner

1 cchopped green onion including the green stalk

3/4 cfavorite sour cream
How To Make pat's sour cream & green onion cornbread

1Preheat a 10 inch cast iron skillet and 1 stick of margarine in a 425 degree oven.

2Blend all ingredients with a wire whisk.

3Pour mixture into preheated skillet and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Invert onto a plate and slice. Serve hot.
