Ingredients For my everyday bread

  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 6 oz
    beer
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried basil
  • 1/5 c
    old fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 c
    unbleached white flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    unbleached wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    yeast

How To Make my everyday bread

    Pour oil into a bread machine container. In a small liquid measure, pour in the beer. Fill with water up to 1 1/3 cup mark.

    Add all dry ingredients, in the order listed.

    Note: reverse ingredients if your machine requires dry first.

    Run on basic bake cycle.

    When it beeps, wait about 5 minutes before removing.

    Wrap in a towel while warm for a softer crust.

    Note: I personally prefer dough settings and then rise in loaf pan before baking in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 45 minutes.
