Loretta and Ray lived at the end of our street and babysat for me. I liked the dumplings, so Mom got the recipe to make them for me at home.

Ingredients For loretta's dumplings

    egg
  • milk
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make loretta's dumplings

  • 1
    Beat 1 egg in a cup measure, add milk to make 1 cup. Blend in flour, powder, and salt. Rub butter in flour and add. Steam about 20 minutes, do not remove cover while steaming
