1PREHEAT OVEN TO 425.

2PLACE PARCHMENT PAPER ON A BAKING SHEET

3COMBINE FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, SALT & NUTMEG.

4CUT IN BUTTER WITH PASTRY BLENDER UNTIL MIXTURE RESEMBLES COARSE CRUMBS.

5IN A MEDIUM SIZE BOWL COMBINE MILK, EGG & LEMON ZEST.

6ADD MILK MIXTURE TO DRY INGREDIENTS, MIXING WITH FORK UNTIL DRY INGREDIENTS ARE MOIST AND A SOFT DOUGH FORMS. GENTLY STIR IN BLUEBERRIES.

7GATHER DOUGH INTO A BALL & GENTLY KNEAD ON LIGHTLY FLOURED SURFACE 8 TO 10 TIMES. PLACE DOUGH ON LIGHTLY BUTTERED BAKING SHEET.

8ON PARCHMENT PAPER PAT INTO 9” CIRCLE, WITH SHARP KNIFE, CUT THROUGH DOUGH TO FORM 8 WEDGES. DO NOT SEPARATE.

9BAKE UNTIL LIGHTLY GOLDEN, 20 TO 22 MINUTES. SEPARATE WEDGES. LET COOL FOR 5 MINUTES & DRIZZLE WITH GLAZE.

10TO MAKE GLAZE: COMBINE POWDERED SUGAR AND LEMON JUICE UNTIL SMOOTH
