With my family being Irish and German, we are getting geared up for St. Patrick's Day. This bread is one that I love and it can be used to make toast, bread pudding, or french toast.

4 call purpose flour

1 csugar

1 tspbaking soda

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

3eggs

1 ptsour cream

How To Make irish soda bread

1325 degree oven. Grease two 8 x 4" loaf pans. Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add the eggs, sour cream together and mix until combined; add raisins and mix until just combined. Batter will be very thick and you will have get all ingredients combined well. Pour evenly into two loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour.

2I also like to make a powdered sugar glaze and pour over the hot bread. Quite tasty!!!
