A fish dinner at home just aint complete without hushpuppies. These are a little different than the ones you eat out or just add milk to the mix.

Ingredients For hush puppies

  • 1 c
    self-rising corn meal
  • 3/4 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 4 Tbsp
    chopped valdalia onion
  • 1/2 c
    sweet milk
  • 2 tsp
    jalapeno peppers
  • 1/4 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make hush puppies

    Mix well, drop by spoons full in deep oil, fry to a golden brown
