Ingredients For heart toast

  • 2 slice
    bread
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 3-4 dash
    pink or red food colouring
  • 1
    heart shaped cookie cutter
  • 1
    paintbrush, eyedropper or spoon

How To Make heart toast

  • 1
Use a heart cookie cutter to mark the shape of a heart into a slice of bread. Be careful not to completely cut through the bread. You just want to make an indentation.
  • 2
Take a little bit of milk, maybe 2-3 tablespoons, and add 3 or 4 drops of red or pink food colouring until you get the shade you want.
  • 3
Use a paint brush to paint the heart red with the dyed milk. Or if you don't have a paint brush, use a spoon or eye dropper and gently drop some of the dyed milk onto the painted heart.
  • 4
Toast it in the toaster oven (not an actual toaster) to desired toastedness!
