yield 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients For garlic croutons

  • 6 slice
    firm white bread, crust removed
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 clove
    large garlic, split

How To Make garlic croutons

  • 1
    Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes.
  • 2
    In a large heavy frying pan, heat oil and butter with the garlic and when hot remove the garlic cloves.

    Saute the bread cubes over med. high heat until lightly browned on all sides.
  • 4
    Drain on paper towels and let cool.
