This is a recipe that my grandma made when we were kids, then my mom and I made them and now we make them for Sunday breakfast quite often. I also make them every time my daugter has friends sleep over. It's always a request of her friends. They are easy and delicious.

Ingredients For french breakfast puffs
- MIX THOROUGHLY

1/3 cshortening

1/2 csugar

1egg
- SIFT TOGETHER

1 cflour

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspnutmeg
- STIR INTO EGG MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH 1 CUP OF MILK
How To Make french breakfast puffs

1Fill 12 greased muffin tins 2/3 full.

2Bake until golden brown at 350 degrees. About 20-25 minutes.

3Immediately roll in 1/2 cup melted BUTTER Then in mixture of 2/3 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
