These little "islands" make a good substitute for biscuits with soup. I like them because they are not as thick as biscuits. So your soup is the star of the dish.

How To Make floating islands

1Preheat oven to 350. Cut together flour, yolks, and butter to form coarse crumbs.

2Add enough milk to moisten so dough can be rolled out.

3Roll dough thinly on floured surface. Cut into square or diamond shapes.

4Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 until browned.

5Place baked islands in serving bowls; then cover with creamy soup.
