These are so easy. No starters to have to feed all the time. They turn out great. They are a big hit.

5 call purpose flour

4 tspbaking powder

1/2 csugar (divided)

1t tspsalt

1 pkgdry yeast

1 cwater, warm

2 cbuttermilk

1/2 coil
How To Make easy sour dough rolls

1Dissolve yeast in water with 1 teaspoon sugar. Mix dry ingredients flour,baking powderremaining sugarand salt in a large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk and yeast mixture and stir well. Cover and let rise for about 3 hours or over night. Roll out into balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. I let mine rise again for about an hour. Then Bake for 10 minutes on 400. Brush the tops with butter when done.
