From my moms kitchen this is so good with fresh honey butter, or butter and fresh strawberry or peach jam.

Ingredients For easy cottage bread

2 2/3 cwarm water

2 Tbspactive dry yeast ( or 2 pkgs )

3 Tbspsugar

1 Tbspsalt
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
6 1/2 cflour
How To Make easy cottage bread

1Put water and yeast into a large bowl and let dissolve.

2Once they are dissolved stir in sugar, salt, and melted butter.

3Add half of the flour beat until smooth, add remaining flour. It will be very sticky and thick.

4Cover bowl ( oil the bowl first )and let rise for 30 minutes - beat down

5Spoon into 2 greased break loaf pans, let ride covered with plastic or a wet towel.

6Bake at 375 degreed for 35 minutes.
