dinner yeast rolls
(2 ratings)
My grandmother always made the best dinner rolls. However, no one had her exact recipe. She was a pinch here and a pinch there kind of gal! It has taken me years but this recipe, according to my family, is now their favorite "grandma" rolls. Hope you enjoy them!

How To Make dinner yeast rolls
-
1Dissolve yeast in warm milk with 1 tsp. of the sugar. Add melted butter. Let set 5 - 10 minutes. Add eggs, salt, and remaining sugar to yeast mixture. Stir in flour one cup at a time with your mixer. After all the flour had been added, knead with a mixer dough paddle for 8 to 10 minutes.

2Place in a oiled bowl and let rise until double in size (approximately an hour). Punch down on a dough cloth and pinch off medium size balls of dough. I use a muffin pan and place two balls in each muffin cup brushed with butter. Let rolls rise again.

3Start baking in a cold oven with temperature set at 375 degrees. Bake 18 - 22 minutes or until slightly brown on top. Brush lightly with melted butter.
