Ingredients For dinner rolls

1/4 cmilk, scalded

2 1/2 Tbspsugar

1 1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 cshortening
-
2 pkgyeast
-
1/4 cwarm water

3 1/4 csifted flour
How To Make dinner rolls

1In a large bowl place scalded milk, sugar, salt and shortening, stir. Cool until lukewarm.

2In a small bowl, stir yeast into warm water. Stir until dissolved. Stir into lukewarm mixture.

3Add flour, stir until well blended.

4Cover with towel and let rise until doubled. Stir batter well, then beat for about 30 seconds.

5Pinch off and fill greased muffin pans. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
